[Chapter-delegates] What should ISOC's future goals be? How can we work toward achieving them as ISOC Chapters?

Through my work livestreaming, while subjective, I think I have as good a
perspective as anyone on the global nature of ISOC's efforts, and, as I
have commented before to the BoT, if anything the US is the poor relation
when it comes to activities! There is one US ISOC conference a year, and
that is aimed at North America's indigenous population rather than the US
per se. This compares with multiple regional peering forums, community
network events, and strong Internet, IWN etc efforts, elsewhere. And, the
staff that manage these efforts are pretty well distributed globally.Thus,
while Richard may have some point about US regulatory hamstringing, I see
little merit in his basic assumption.
