Dear Andrew,
Regarding the exchange of messages below, I think that it is perfectly appropriate, and not impolite or rude, for a chapter delegate to post to this list something of interest that was posted on another list that is accessible to anybody who wishes to subscribe to it. Which is what Veni did.
And I think that your message below, which might be understood to imply that what Veni did was impolite, is not appropriate, because it could have a chilling effect and discourage others from posting their thoughts to this list.
Furthermore, you had previously posted this, in response to Veni’s posting my comments on your message to the Internet Policy list: “I deliberately didn't send my message to this list, and Veni didn't ask me before forwarding it, so you will get the last word on this.”
That might leave the impression that you had commented, on the Internet Policy list, on my comments.
However, unless I am mistaken, that I is not the case: you did not comment on my comments, which is fine, I was not necessarily expecting a reply.
Best,
Richard

That means we are both right. Weird contradictory points, but the legal notice should have priority, so perhaps the legal folks should update the page.
That’s a good positive outcome of this short exchange of emails.

The third bullet at that URL says
Don’t share the posts of others without permission.
