Dear Louis Houle,
It feels good to see this taking shape as a discussion.
You have made a forceful argument, valid on all respects and your message
has actually made the INET idea broader and more elaborate. Why not?
On point 7, organizing the event in different geographic locations I have
these concerns: Already there are difficulties expressed by delegates in
attending too many events, which is pointed addressed by your suggestion
that the INET could combine several tasks so as to make it a large and very
important event. But doing it in differnet geographic locations brings back
the problem of too many events... So, this point requires some attention. (
May be we can organize one or two INETs centrally and in the later years
evaluate if there is a need for INETs in different geographic locations ? )
