Sorry, I answered the wrong question.

Nothing happens. There might be a routing update, if necessary. Previous locator should have a forwarding address. The nodes could be multihomed. There are various details to fill in to make sure it works.  (I believe the mobile device should make the decision about when to change points of attachment. It knows the signal strength and perhaps where it is going. It might want to switch to a weaker signal, because it knows it will move toward where it is stronger.
