(I vividly remember seeing one on a trade show, probably 1983, and thinking “so this is the way we are going to work”…
Took till 1988 until I had my first Toshiba laptop.  
Added a portable ink-jet, and I completely dominated the standards meetings with that combo.
Modem and "FTP Software”’s PC/TCP...
At the time, the main equipment supporting a standards meeting was a kitchen-size Xerox copier pipeline…  But I digress.)
