[ih] NCP and TCP implementations

The implementation that Mike Petry and I did at the University of 
Maryland
for our UNIVAC 1108 and 1100/40 was first written in UNIVAC assembly 
code.  This
was in the early 1980's, initially as a class project that turned into
a real "thing".

Later large parts were reimplemented in PLUS, a systems programming 
language that
UNIVAC / Sperry / UniSys created for the 1100 (and later, 2200) series 
of
mainframes.  That implementation later ran on 1100/80, 1100/70 and 
1100/90
series UniSys mainframes.  TELNET, FTP and SMTP servers and various 
weird printing
and batch job submission services were supported.
