the ALOHAnet Menehune -- the HP-Minicomputer gateway (hostname
HAWAII-ALOHA) between the ALOHANet user terminals and the ARPANET only
supported NCP (to the best of yours truly's recall -- who was Most Kindly
lent one of the ICU's during a summer vacation in Hawaii during its hey day
:D)
