Just an off-the-wall-guess:

It is somebody who uses Thunderbird­™ (or some such) and hits "spam" 
(instead of "delete" or "unsubscribe) and answers "yes" to the question 
"Would you like to unsubscribe?".

And I'll quit there and spare y'all the 
"I-wish-Mozilla-stop-improving-products-that-used-to-work rant.
