[ih] What is the origin of the root account?

a)  I thought that was the origin of the name with respect to Multics, and

b)  that *is* what we called the stripped down version 6 we put on an 
LSI-11 in 1976.  (The one I mentioned earlier that had a plasma 
screen and touch).
