Dear ChAC Representatives and Chapter Leaders,
As we look toward the future of our global community, I am writing to ask
for your support and your vote to continue serving on the *Chapters
Advisory Council (ChAC) Steering Committee*.
Having served on the Steering Committee over the past year, I realized one
fundamental truth: *one year is simply not enough to solve our structural
communication challenges.* While many of us are deeply knowledgeable
chapter members, our full ChAC calls often lack active debate, and
communication gaps prevent us from fully leveraging our collective voice.
Why Re-elect Me?
-
*Bridging Local Realities and Global Strategy:* My professional
background in networking administration and teaching, combined with a
decade of active ISOC engagement—spanning local chapter work, fellowships,
and mentoring in e-learning and Y.A.P. programs—gives me a holistic,
hands-on view of our community.
-
*A Focus on Actionable Communication:* I am committed to fixing how we
communicate. My goal is to move beyond passive reporting by introducing
practical measures—such as regular regional call touchpoints and
streamlined updates—ensuring that every chapter leader has a real voice and
knows how to feed local insights into our global policy.
-
*Continuity and Commitment:* I understand how the ChAC operates, what
hurdles we face, and how to bridge the gap between Internet Society global
management and our local leadership.
I am running again because I want to ensure the ChaC becomes an active,
vibrant platform where leaders truly engage, debate, and drive sustainable
change for the Internet.
Thank you for your dedication to your chapters and to our shared mission. I
would be honored to have your vote.
Warm regards,
Alejandra Stolk
