Dear Delegates,
If elected to the Chapter Advisory Council Steering Committee, my priority
will be to create tangible results that benefit all ISOC chapters. My focus
will be on three key areas:
*1. Strengthening Chapter Engagement:* I will work to ensure that every
chapter, regardless of size or location, has a platform to actively
contribute to ISOC’s global mission. This includes creating more
opportunities for chapter participation in decision-making and policy
discussions. I will push for greater resource sharing to ensure all
chapters can flourish and collaborate effectively.
*2. Promoting Capacity Building and Diversity:* I will champion initiatives
that provide training, tools, and support to chapters, enabling them to
address local challenges like digital inclusion and cybersecurity. I aim to
increase diversity within our chapter leadership by fostering an
environment that encourages underrepresented voices to lead and innovate.
*3. Advancing Global Collaboration on Key Issues:* I will focus on creating
stronger partnerships between chapters and external stakeholders to address
emerging challenges. This includes working on solutions for Internet
governance, promoting digital inclusion policies, and ensuring that our
chapters play an active role in shaping the global Internet landscape.
My ultimate goal is to make the Advisory Council a hub of innovation,
inclusivity, and collaboration that supports every chapter in driving
meaningful change in their communities.
I am committed to delivering these results, and I ask for your support and
your vote to help make this vision a reality.
Sincerely,
*Abdou MFOPA*
