[Chapter-delegates] Campaign Message for Abdou MFOPA – Candidacy for the 2025 Chapter Advisory Council Steering Committee

Dear Delegates,

I am *Abdou MFOPA POUNTOUGNIGNI*, President of the ISOC Cameroon Chapter,
and I am honored to submit my candidacy for the 2025 Chapter Advisory
Council Steering Committee. My journey with ISOC Cameroon has been both
challenging and inspiring, as I’ve led efforts to bridge the digital divide
and enhance Internet governance within our community. This experience has
fueled my passion for ensuring that the Internet remains open, inclusive,
and safe for all.

As a candidate, my vision for the Chapters Advisory Council is clear:
*1. Strengthen Global Collaboration:* I aim to foster greater engagement
across chapters worldwide, promoting active participation and mutual
learning.
*2. Promote Capacity Building:* By 2025, I hope to see the Council leading
efforts to equip chapters with the tools, skills, and knowledge they need
to thrive, particularly in underserved regions.
*3. Address Emerging Challenges:* I am committed to advancing solutions to
pressing issues like cybersecurity, digital inclusion, and governance,
ensuring that every region's voice is heard.

My background in telecommunications, entrepreneurship, and leadership
positions me well to contribute to these goals. I have a deep understanding
of the challenges faced by developing regions, and I bring a unique
perspective on how to address them. I am confident that my ability to
bridge the gap between technical and policy issues will be an asset to the
Steering Committee and to ISOC chapters globally.

Together, we can build a stronger, more united network that advances ISOC's
mission and ensures a fair and inclusive Internet for everyone.
