Hi Veni,

The date field may default to the end of this year, but it should turn green when you click on it. Once the date field is green, you can modify it.
You should be able to select a specific date, or type in the date you want the term to end.

I hope this helps, but please let me or your Community Engagement Manager know if you still cannot add it, and we can troubleshoot with you.

No matter what date I choose (for this position or any other new position), it defaults the end date to Dec. 31, 2023.

How to add the Communications Officer (For Fonteva) position in the current AMS (Membernova):

*Note: Only the AMS Administrator position can add a new officer.

- Log into the Member Portal

- Under My Chapters and Special Interest Groups (SIG), select your chapter.

- Click on My Chapter Profile

- Click on the dropdown arrow next to Add Election button, and select Edit Officers

- Click the + Add button. A pop-up window will appear for Add Position

- Select the Communication Officer position from the Position dropdown menu

- Enter the name of the member in the Member field

You can adjust the term end date by clicking into the date field.
*note: You must click on a specific date on the calendar for it to populate the date field.

- Click Save.

*Note: only two persons can be added as Communication Officer (for Fonteva).
