I was pleased to accept the nomination for me to stand to serve on the
Chapter Advisory Council (ChAC) Steering Committee, in these upcoming
elections.
Some of you and probably those in my geographic region of Asia Pacific will
be fairly familiar with me, my expertise, skill sets and experiences, in
other words, what I will bring to the table of the Steering Committee if
lucky enough to be appointed, For those of you who are unfamiliar or have
not worked with me before, I have provided a fairly detailed bio basics
statement including links to follow to review some of my online presence so
that you might be able to make some assessments of my potential as a
candidate. see the candidate profile link.

This "campaign" period over the next few days however offers an opportunity
for any of you to ask me (and other candidates of course) any
pertinent questions you might have that will assist you in arriving at your
preferences for the appointments. I welcome and look forward to receiving
those, over the next week or so, noting that I live in a UTC +11 time zone
so a question posed at say 1200 UTC may not get a reply to 1700 UTC or
thereafter unless of course, I am awake for a conference call ;-).
Primarily, I wish to state however for your consideration, that I am a
highly competent and experienced administrator, with an extensive and
successful history in leading effective and responsive teams, committees
and projects. I am a recognised diversity advocate, and an accomplished
communicator and consensus builder, all things along with my "say what
you're going to do then do it" mantra, which should be of value to us all
in the ChAC and our Chapters in general, should you choose to cast your
vote for me.
