Alan,

just to chime in. It's about two years now we have promises from ISOC staff
that some of this will be fixed.

And mind you, this is not ISOC failing in Netiquette, it is ISOC failing in
Internet standards compliance (not Web standards - Internet standards.)

I hope to see some progress soon.

BTW I'm retaining your message for context. Otherwise I'd have to make a
longer explanation. I am not opposed to top-posting as long as one
occassionally does cut a long tail short.
