[Chapter-delegates] 2014 Internet Society Board of Trustees Elections - Notice: New Electronic Ballots to be Issued

Dear Chapter Delegates

This is to notify you about an error with the electronic ballots that were
sent on 25 March to all voting representatives and delegates. It has come
to the Election Committee's attention that the ballots failed to take into
account the 2013 bylaws change which, this election cycle, provides for
election of one (1) trustee by Organization representatives and two (2)
trustees by Chapter delegates.

To correct this error, we are today:

1) Sending corrected e-ballots to all Organization voting representatives
and all Chapter voting delegates;

2) Contacting all voting representatives and voting delegates who have
already voted and requesting that they re-vote using the corrected
e-ballots;

3) Disposing of any votes received on the incorrect e-ballots, so that no
votes from the same voter are counted twice.

4) Reviewing relevant election committee and staff processes to ensure that
this error is not repeated in future.

All voting representatives and voting delegates should expect to receive
the corrected e-ballots via email today. The deadline for voting will
remain Friday, 25 April 2014 at 23:59 UTC.
