[Chapter-delegates] Board Election

For regional representation (which, I agree, is important), the chapter
advisory council stucture that CW and others are pushing seems likely to
solve that issue.

As for why I didn't vote, then on numerous occasions on this mailing list
it has been mentioned that the representatives that chapters choose for the
board are not really representatives in the traditional term. In the sense
that, well, we vote for them and we choose them, but they can't really do
anything for us and we shouldn't expect it either, because it's not their
role. This pre-selection process seems kinda odd as well. I'm a big fan of
democracy, but this is not it.
