Hi,
Is there an Africa Region Rep? If so, is there a reason for the absence in this important meeting?

While it is agreed for chapter autonomy a high degree of self-sufficiency is desirable, that goal is unattainable for most chapters. A balance of chapter self-sufficiency and ISOC Management contribution must be reached. However, due of the diversity of chapter culture, environment and skill, there must be a variety of potential solutions.

> B. After a compilation of the tools inventory, chapter success activities and current suggestions for action, the CASWG will develop a larger discussion with Chapter leaders to prioritize the various suggestions which will result in recommendations to the ISOC Executive Staff and Board of Trustees.
> C. In addition to recommendations to the Board of Trustees, if there are any opportunities for pilot programs (or other direct action opportunities not requiring their approval, that chapters can take with staff) those will also be prioritized and Staff with the CASWG will schedule their implementation.
