Hi Konstantin,
This is a welcome development. I think many on the old PubPol list were
shocked when it was summarily shut down as "mission accomplished" when the
report was released, especially giving that "Evolving" in the title. The
attempted transfer to linked in was a non-starter. I instituted
the x-pubpol stopgap list at ISOC-NY but I, and Internet NZ, have been the
only consistent posters.
A good thing about the old PubPol was that it was broad tent. I hope the
membership list has been stored, so that they may all be re-invited. I also
trust that the Advisory Council will get a similar invite.
We've also have not heard a lot more about the ISOC-FI proposal for a
policy observatorium, but something of this nature could work well as a
compliment. Sally Wentworth has been using Scoop-It for this function on
the ITU WG, simple but could possibly be improved on.
