Just to be clear: that is NOT what I had asked for when I wrote: "Does
ISOC Global, or the affected Regional Bureaus, have any procedures or
suggestions for such a case?"

Thanks also, Eric, for your question about community responses. We
discuss such things locally - some with strategic people who do not want
to be quoted publicly. So what you say is clear: "If we did not value
community feedback, it would be trivial for ISOC to respond to such
incidents" - that mean ISOC Global acts, in principle, in response to
community feedback.

Thanks for your comment, Joly: "While ISOC might hesitate as a body to
issue an immediate policy statement, there is nothing to stop individual
members or even chapters from joining in the chorus of criticism."

But my question had also been directed at the Regional Bureaus'
functions and actions in general in cases of problems or of a crisis in
the region.

Even if the Pakistan Twitter problem may get out of the way, my
questions relate to the "next case" probably coming.
