Thanks, Anne,
for your response. - Different people have raised different concerns.
You asked for reactions - and if you missed anything. So my response is
just reflecting some of our own needs, which have been discussed among
some Chapter members here.
I think the Issue Tracking Tool https://mantis.tools.isoc.org/ which
Klaus Birkenbihl had mentioned on 27 January 2012 would be very helpful,
if the ISOC staff caring for software/programming concerns would agree
to use it actively. Looking at the status, it shows that, a long time
ago, several issues were mentioned as "new" - "accepted" - "assigned" -
but only one made it to be "solved."
This tool would, of course, only relate to one kind of concerns expressed.
Policy questions, and some most urgent financial questions I had raised
(and to which other chapter voices concurred) - related to the covering
of health care costs of accepted Geneva travel fellowship recipients -
if such need should arise - but my question is still without any
reaction from the Geneva organizing committee. (Such a committee had
been mentioned once - but I do not know who the members are.)
With my best greetings,
Norbert
