[Chapter-delegates] On visual identity of FB pages

Of course, one of the problems with all these social media platforms is
keeping them all up to date. Posting individually can be a real chore,
especially since many have slightly different requirements.

Similar to ISOC's newsletter, at ISOC-NY my solution is to have a "
noticeboard <http://www.isoc-ny.org/p2/>", a separate wordpress instance to
our main site, and then automate its dispersion. It is imported to the main
site via rss,I use networked blogs <https://www.facebook.com/networkedblogs> to
bring it into facebook, and twitterfeed <http://twitterfeed.com/> for
twitter. You'll see, for convenience, I include hashtags in the titles.
Linked In I still do manually, but not that much, as I find it clunky and
the resulting emails intrusive.

I know a lot of people swear by hootsuite <http://hootsuite.com/>. Earlier
this week I shot video of a presentation of an app called
LinksAlpha<http://www.linksalpha.com/>that seems pretty effective. I
think I will try it out. See the vid at
