<div>Of course, one of the problems with all these social media platforms is keeping them all up to date. Posting individually can be a real chore, especially since many have slightly different requirements.</div><div><br>
</div><div>Similar to ISOC's newsletter, at ISOC-NY my solution is to have a "<a href="http://www.isoc-ny.org/p2/">noticeboard</a>", a separate wordpress instance to our main site, and then automate its dispersion. It is imported to the main site via rss,I use <a href="https://www.facebook.com/networkedblogs">networked blogs</a> to bring it into facebook, and <a href="http://twitterfeed.com/">twitterfeed</a> for twitter. You'll see, for convenience, I include hashtags in the titles. Linked In I still do manually, but not that much, as I find it clunky and the resulting emails intrusive. </div>
<div><br></div><div>I know a lot of people swear by <a href="http://hootsuite.com/">hootsuite</a>. Earlier this week I shot video of a presentation of an app called <a href="http://www.linksalpha.com/">LinksAlpha</a> that seems pretty effective. I think I will try it out.
