Dear Michiel:

Thankyou for this notice, which is very timely.
You will recall that ISOC-ECC and ISOC responded to the DG Enterprise  
consultation on ICT standardisation.

Frédéric and I will be following up on this with the Commission staff  
concerned later this month.

Meanwhile, it would be useful if those of us - particularly IETF  
participants - could make known whether they would be available to  
work in this area.
(Articles 4 and 5 of the Commission Decision imply that a significant  
commitment of time and work may be involved.)
To this effect, could Chapter Delegates in receipt of this notice  
please inform the relevant people.
