[Chapter-delegates] Report from ITU Plenipotentiary Conference, week 1

Dear Bill,
thank you very much for very interesting report.
According to my experience it is necessary to be involved in ITU
regional activity BEFORE the conference during one year, at least,
and be on site one day in prior. Collecting information during the PPT
is really very hard procedure, lot of working groups, add-hook groups,
study groups. Of course, presentations of responsible persons are also
important. I think it is very important to prepare ISOC for the next PPT.
In 2002 there was an excellent event on Saturday and Sunday, when ISOC
have organized a separate conference "Information Society for
Everyone" during PPT in Marrakesh.
