[Chapter-delegates] Report from ITU Plenipotentiary Conference, week 1

Bill and Alejandro,

I understand the current situation with ITU in the same manner as
you said on your last mails. In that context I support
your views and understanding. It is not a first attempt ITU to
try to take over the Internet governance. The first ITU trial
some twenty years ago finished with set up of ICANN. Now the
situation is different but I have doubts about the ITU
power despite the existence of WSIS and other governmental bodies.
However, Internet community must keep the eyes on what is going on
in IGF, ITU and similar forums.
