[Chapter-delegates] ACTION NEEDED: Update your Chapter + member data !!

Dear all,

1. *Chapter officer update in the AMS*

This is to let you know that we will soon be synchronising the 
subscriptions on the Chapter delegates list to match the Chapter 
officers as listed in ISOC's membership system (AMS). To review the 
current Chapter data, please login to the ISOC portal at:

   https://portal.isoc.org/EBusiness/Home.aspx

Should the information be outdated, please have your respective Chapter 
AMS Administrator update the list of Chapter officers to reflect the 
current roles in your Chapter. The deadline for this is *May 1, 2010 *.
Missing data will result in officers not being subscribed to the Chapter 
delegates list. Your Chapter could be missing important information 
should the officer list in the AMS not be complete.

However, as you know, this mailing list is used to share with other 
Chapter delegates your experiences and to ask questions and to learn 
from others expertise. The list is the main way we communicate ISOC 
events, information etc as well as Chapters using it for discussion. We 
would also like to encourage you to share relevant information posted to 
this list with the members of your Chapter.

2. *Chapter membership data synchronisation*

Please let me also use the opportunity to remind you about the current 
Chapter Members Data Synchronisation effort where each Chapter is asked 
to synchronise their local membership data with ISOC's system. Many 
Chapters are already working on this but many have not yet started.

The deadline for the financial incentive to offset some of the related 
costs has been EXTENDED to *June 30, 2010* . See for more details and
