Dear Colleagues,

The "Sphere Labels" group is the forum to discuss the revision to the
"Policy and Procedure" framework for Chapters (currently documented
at: http://www.isoc.org/isoc/chapters/policy/). This email is a
friendly reminder and invitation to join this group if you are
interested in participating in the discussions.

The group recently met and have the following revised draft:
"Principles of Affiliation - A shared vision governing the
relationship with ISOC Chapters and ISOC Global" available for
review. The draft document (with Spanish translation provided by
Sebastian Ricciardi, ISOC Argentina) is here:

http://wiki.chapters.isoc.org/tiki-index.php?page=Draft+%26quot%3BPrinciples+of+Affiliation+document+v1.1+-+A+shared+vision%26quot%3B&bl=y
(tiny URL : http://tinyurl.com/d934l3)

This document is a "high level" document which describes a shared
vision for the relationship between ISOC Global and the Chapters. In
addition to this document, the Sphere Labels group will develop a
separate companion document which will cover the policies and the
operational procedures in more detail.

If you have an interest in this topic, you are warmly invited to join
the discussions and participate in the sphere-labels group. You can
join the group at this page: http://elists.isoc.org/mailman/listinfo/sphere-labels

You are also invited to post your comments to the blog at:
http://wiki.chapters.isoc.org/tiki-view_blog.php?blogId=3

There is a Spanish sphere-labels group and we are hoping someone will
be interested to form a French speaking group.

We look forward to hearing from you.

best wishes,

Anne
(On behalf of the Sphere Labels group)
