Dear Veni Makovski and others,

This as a new thread of to continue the discussions at the thread "ISOC
Election Results" appear focussed as a discussion. Maye Diop is quite right
in cautioning us that we should not see INET as an event to replace the IGF.

IGF as a UN inititiave may extend beyond 2010, so there is no reason for us
to wait till 2010 for the next INET.

INET can happen as soon as we can organize it. We may require 6 months to
plan and organize the INET or atmost 9 months if we decide.

INET can do wonders for ISOC in working towards its mission, if organized
well, perhaps with participation from related organizations such as ICANN,
IETF and W3.
