Hello Bill Graham

Thank you for your resposne. Part of my concerns arose out of a
misunderstanding of ISOC's role in IGF, which is now clarified. I have also
had a phone conversation with an officer of the Ministry of Information and
Technology a few hours ago. The ministry is receptive to the chapter's
participation in the event and the officer would be in touch.

The role of ISOC was misunderstood to be central to IGF, and in the context
of such inadequate understanding I was a little concerned that some of the
chapter's communication to the ministry were unanwered. Beyond that there is
no extra-ordinary eagerness on the part of the chennai chapter or on the
part of the members to be a part of IGF.

Thank you
