[Chapter-delegates] Chapter Rejuvenation activities - update

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to update you with respect to the Chapter rejuvenation 
activities that we have been working on since the beginning of the year.

In January 2008 we reported that we had begun work to commence on 
rejuvenation efforts with the Chapters. We commenced this work with 
those Chapter leaders that indicated that the Chapter was no longer 
functioning or that we were unable to track down via email, phone or 
existing members. The list of chapters currently under rejuvenation 
consists of: Cameroon, Canada-Toronto, Denmark, Greece, India-New Delhi, 
Ireland, Palestine, Philippines, Scotland UK, Uganda and US-Hawaii. More 
chapters will be added to this list as we progress. You can find a list

Congratulations are due to ISOC Peru who just recently completed a 
rejuvenation effort and are now reconstituted with a newly elected 
Board.  Finding new volunteers is not always straightforward and we will 
continue to keep you informed as this work progresses.  If you have any

At the same time, we are also working to update our archive of Chapter 
By-laws so that we have accurate and up to date copies of Chapter 
by-laws. If your Chapter has changed it's by-laws and you do not think 
we have a copy, please send an email to <chapters at isoc.org>. Sabrina is 
co-ordinating this activity. In the meantime, we will continue to 
contact chapters on a one-on-one basis to say 'hello', ask for up to 
date by-laws, update our information and to see if we can assist in any way.
