1) I propose to update the description under "Creating multilingual
versions of news items" and put as the first bulleted point:

"1. Create translated version of the article as a new post using
instructions above." (put better Enlish here)

(I read this description twice and obviously missed that crucial
information in the introductory sentence).

Obviously(?) "Edit Translation" feature is just meant to create a link
between existing articles, not to edit the translation itself.

2) It took me a while to figure out that a list of articles in the
second dropdown is just a list of all articles in all other languages
except the current one. Is this correct?

3) Is it possible to put the description under "Creating multilingual
versions of news items" on the very "Edit translation" page?
Or perhaps maybe some link titled "Translate article" also in the
"Application menu".

4) Is there any way to edit existing post item and save it under
different language? That would make the process much easier (and
more intuitive) since one usually overwrites original text while
translating. It could save time and spare the effort if the translated
version had the same metadata as the original (except for the Publish
date probably).
