That's a good point.
I'd like though to bring to the attention of all list members, that 
sometimes it's important not only what we want to do, but how it is 
going to be accepted by the addressees, and how it will be viewed in 
the media. A good example is the other day's article at the Financial 
Times about the so-called Chinese IDNs.

Although the article is not fully correct, it makes a major headline 
- on the top of the page. If someone sends FT a letter with 
explanation, it will be (may be) published among about 30 other 
letters. So, when ISOC acts, it should make clear on the headlines, 
not on the letters' section.

I think we need to put some efforts in our communications with the 
media, to make sure our views are well presented.
