Gene,
Great suggestion. We're already ahead of you, to the extent we have
talked about this for some time and it is on our list of things to do.
Currently, ISOC is undergoing a transition of its IT infrastructure.
Carefully, of course, so as not to disrupt any services. The schedule is
spread out over the next two months in fact.
Once that's complete, we have had on our list of things to offer to
Chapters a template web site. Something on the order of a half-dozen or
so 'standard' pages is what we've talked about, mostly internally but
we've chatted with a few Chapters about it.
We really haven't worked out all the details. One important issue is how
to support Chapters updating their web site, but there's plenty of
technology available to do this so we just have to pick something that
works for us.
When the time comes to make this happen there will be more to say and we
will certainly make sure that the Chapters are aware and can contribute
to the decision.
In the meantime, I think Carlos' need is more immediate, so he may want
to investigate the free services suggested by others.
