Quoting the last two paragraphs of that article:

    At the end, the discussion focused on X.400. "There are 2 million 
X.400 users out there,” desJardins said.
    “Yes,” Rose snorted, "but none of them can talk to each other! Ring, 
ring, my phone is ringing. Must be an X.400 user.”
