Around 2000, I was involved with a startup and there was a team dinner.
One of the very young staffers said they had a question and weren't sure
whether they had a problem.  They said that they got up in the middle of
the night to go to the bathroom, and on the way back to bed they stopped
to check their email.  Should they consider that a problem?

The CEO waited a beat and said no, that's ok.  However, they said, it
/would/ be a problem if they had stopped on the way /to/ the bathroom.

Of course now, with smartphones, there is the more commonly-chosen
option of /during/...
