Thanks for these kind words - as you know, many, including you, have
labored to grow the Internet from the seeds planted many years ago. It was
especially nice to see Bob recognized just a few days ago with the IEEE
Medal of Honor, partly in recognition of his work on TCP as well as many
other contributions over the years to science and engineering.
