Me too.  I think there has been some kind of email outage.   I sent a 
message yesterday to the list, a few minutes after Joe Touch's "Design 
choices in SMTP".   But it never came back to me as "via 
internet-history" and it's also not in the list archives.   It appears I 
also didn't receive other list mail over the weekend.

I'll send my message again, if this one gets through.  Maybe the sun's 
solar flares and "vortex" are to blame....
