Some years back I sent a message to this list which lamented that the work of
Carl-Hubert Rokitansky, in his "Cluster Networking" proposal, wasn't better
referenced.

Among other things, there didn't seem to be any original documents on line
showing the details of this proposal; web searches revealed nothing. See also:

I have just discovered that the online copy (*large* pdf file) of the
Proceedings of the '1st' IETF, available at:

    http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/prior29/IETF01.pdf 

includes a copy of Roki's handwritten slides on the matter, on pp. 45-61 (pdf
page numbers). Just noting this here for informational purposes!
