Dear all,
Following the adoption of the WSIS+20 outcome document, which made the IGF permanent, and as the global community considers how to implement this agreement, we are pleased to share our community consultation on “Making the most of the Internet Governance Forum”: https://www.internetsociety.org/our-work/internet-governance/making-the-most-of-the-internet-governance-forum/
The next months present a crucial opportunity to shape the future of digital development, and the Internet Society is ready to drive this progress. As part of the initial steps, we’ve identified four strategic priorities where we will focus our efforts in supporting the implementation of the WSIS+20 commitments: https://www.internetsociety.org/blog/2026/04/from-commitments-to-practice-internet-societys-priorities-for-wsis20-implementation/
In this next phase, the IGF has been asked to further enhance its processes for multistakeholder participation, specifically strengthening governmental engagement and dialogue. For that purpose and to facilitate discussions, the Internet Society is calling for input from our community and partners. The responses will be published under Chatham House Rules—input will be published but not attributed.
We very much look forward to hearing your responses and engagement! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.
Best,
Isra
