[Chapter-delegates] Final Results of ISOC Board Elections and IETF Selection

Dear Chapter Leaders:



On behalf of the Internet Society Elections Committee, I am pleased to
announce the final results of the 2026 elections and the IETF selection for
the Board of Trustees.



Voting concluded on 30 March. The results were announced and the challenge
period opened on 31 March. The deadline to file challenges was 7 April at
15:00 UTC. One challenge was filed. At a formal board meeting held on 8
April 2026 <https://www.internetsociety.org/board-of-trustees/meetings/193/>,
the Board of Trustees reviewed the challenge and took the decision to
reject it, confirming the results of the election stand.



In the Chapters election, Caleb Ogundele and
Ramanou Biaou have been reelected to a 3-year term each.

In the Organization Members election, Sharon Kent has been elected to a
3-year term.

Following the process documented in RFC 3677, the Internet Architecture
Board (IAB), on behalf of the Internet Engineering Task Force,
selected Brian Trammell to serve on the Internet Society board for a 3-year
term.



The terms for all four trustees will commence with the Internet Society
Board of Trustees 2026 Annual General Meeting on 25-26 July in Vienna,
Austria.
