Emergency preparedness and Emergency Response, and featured conversations
with, and skill-shares from, members of Internet Society chapters across
North America and our partner organizations. With recent increases in
severe weather events or natural disasters such as wildfires, storms,
floods, droughts, earthquakes, wars and mass-casualty events, it was an
opportunity to discuss the role that the Internet plays in such events, and
learn ways technology can be leveraged to improve outcomes.
