Dear Chapter Leaders,

👉 The letter is open for endorsement here<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSePdrx42mS3_8ikSX0QmaKrdXsWJ-oYCL1gTyfHeqRRIsd5Dw/viewform>.

More Details
Now that the WSIS roadmap<https://publicadministration.desa.un.org/wsis20/Preparatory%20Process%20Roadmap> has been shared, people are starting to prepare for the WSIS review process to kick off. Following our endorsement of the Five-Point Plan<https://www.gp-digital.org/five-point-plan-for-an-inclusive-wsis20-review/> in March, we have been working with Global Partners Digital (GPD) and a group of cross-stakeholders in drafting Eight Practical Recommendations<https://www.gp-digital.org/wsis20-five-point-plan-follow-up-eight-practical-recommendations/> for the WSIS review with the aim of presenting tangible recommendations on how the WSIS co-facilitators can facilitate a transparent and inclusive process for the WSIS review. The letter is open for endorsement here<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSePdrx42mS3_8ikSX0QmaKrdXsWJ-oYCL1gTyfHeqRRIsd5Dw/viewform>.

The intent behind the Eight Practical Recommendations is to present tangible recommendations on how to facilitate a transparent and inclusive process for the co-facilitators of the WSIS review following the recent publication of the WSIS roadmap. These recommendations aim to ensure transparency, inclusivity, and meaningful stakeholder engagement throughout the WSIS+20 review process, covering aspects such as ensuring comprehensive stakeholder input is collected after each iteration of the draft Outcome Document, enabling non-governmental stakeholders to observe all meetings, and ensuring opportunities for their participation in intergovernmental negotiations and the High-Level Meeting in December.

Please feel free to reach out to Mona Gaballa (gaballa at isoc.org<mailto:gaballa at isoc.org>) or Isra Rosas (rosas at isoc.org<mailto:rosas at isoc.org>) if you have any questions or comments.

Best wishes,
Stine
