If that is what I said, it is a little confused.  My point was rather that Fonteva is built inside Salesforce, and Salesforce is _also_ a CRM.  The Fundraising team is building their dashboard inside Salesforce.  There are certain advantages to Fonteva having been built inside Salesforce, not least of which is that the AMS and the CRM that we use for fundraising (among other things) can share a common back end, which ensures consistent data handling and policy enforcement and so forth.

No, Fluxx is used for _outbound_ philanthropy.

Yes, the Fundraising team, which lives in the Foundation, is going to depend on the CRM.

The other way around, though it was pretty obvious once Fonteva became the leading contender for the AMS that our CRM would almost certainly be Salesforce.  It is worth reminding everyone that the selection of Fonteva took a very long time partly because we consulted pretty heavily with the community on the topic, and Fonteva emerged a clear favourite in part because of that community reaction to the options we had.
