[Chapter-delegates] Upcoming: Chapters Advisory Council Steering Committee Elections (please ensure your chapter has an ChAC Rep listed!)

Dear Colleagues,

The Chapters Advisory Council (ChAC) brings together representatives from Internet Society chapters around the world. The ChAC is the voice of the chapters to the Internet Society President & CEO and Board of Trustees.

This is a heads-up that the 2024 Nominations and Elections process for the Chapter Advisory Council Steering Committee is about to launch. The Nominations & Elections Process & Timeline is available here: https://isoc.box.com/s/uo6z8k2k3xebljlkgr6h8fvtgqnpfb8g

The ChAC Steering Committee is a group of nine (9) geographically diverse members elected from among the ChAC representatives to lead the Committee’s discussions and draft recommendations on the topics brought forward by the chapters.

To be able to participate in the elections, please do make sure that your chapter has identified a Chapters Advisory Council Representative (ChAC Rep). The current list is available here: https://www.internetsociety.org/chapters/chapters-advisory-council/list-of-representatives/

Your Chapter's AMS Admins can update the name of your ChAC Representative directly in the Chapter Portal (AMS) (add the Chapter Advisory Council Representative role as one of your Chapter's officers) or reach out to your regional Community Engagement Manager if you need help with this.
