[Chapter-delegates] Friendly Reminder: Chapter communication functionality in the new AMS (Fonteva) - Action needed by 15 Nov!

Dear Colleagues,

As you know we’re getting ready to move to our new Association Management System (AMS) in Fonteva.

Here is a quick update around what is lying ahead with regards to chapter communications with members:

Formal Chapter Communication/Broadcast (from chapter leaders to chapter members):

  *   The e-mail functionality in Fonteva will be much more powerful than what is currently available to you via the Chapter Portal (AMS). It will come with a range of additional functionality that will let you set up e-mail communication campaigns, newsletters, etc.
  *   This e-mail functionality will be made available to two (2) chapter leaders per chapter.

*Action needed by 15 November:

  *   Please decide within your chapter’s leadership team who your chapter’s two “Communication Officers (for Fonteva)“ are.
  *   Then log into the current Chapter Portal (AMS): https://admin.internetsociety.org/622619/User/Login and navigate to the list of your chapter’s officers.
  *   Please select the role of “Communication Officer (for Fonteva)”
  *   Please add your two Communication Officers before 15 November.

Note: Interaction with/between your chapter’s members:
Connect, the Internet Society’s engagement platform will go away and the two-way communication functionality you’re currently used to will live in Fonteva. The current communities on Connect will be migrated over to Fonteva. This functionality will allow you and your chapter’s members to communicate with each other in an easy-to-use way.
