Thank you for the updates Christine. That is indeed good news -- that Connect 
will soon be gone. One can hope that Fonteva will not carry-over the worst sins 
of Connect. Then again, the current AMS email is likewise a pain which is why we 
only use it when we have to (like once every 2 years for elections), and instead 
resort to alternatives such as GoogleGroups and various Messaging Apps.

Yes, the upcoming ChAC call next week would be a good time to discuss corporate 
messaging, the new AMS, etc. For messaging i believe the thing we have to avoid 
is mandating use of or restricting communications to a single "tool" such as 
Connect simply to justify (post hoc) the decision and expense of having such a 
tool in the first place.
