Dear Chapter Leaders,

My name is Francis Acquah Amaning, is a systemsadministrator with 12 years of experience.  Strategist, project manager, and digitalskills trainer with extensive experience who is passionate about streamliningprocesses and upending the status quo.

Francisworks with the Ghana Domain Name Registry, an agency under the Ministry ofCommunications and Digitalization in Ghana.

Ihave been at the forefront of planning the Ghana Internet Governance Forumsince 2015 and currently serving as a co-chair to the Ghana IGF steeringcommittee. I have served on various committees, including the West Africa andAfrica Internet Governance Technical Working Group and also volunteered for organizationswhose vision seeks to promote and open, trustworthy and secured Internet forthe good of the people.

I'veheld positions with the Internet Society Ghana Chapter including vicesecretary, secretary, and now president. Currently, Francis is a mentor for theISOC Youth IGF Ambassadors Program for 2022.

I'vemanaged a number of community network initiatives, including the RadioNetProject, which came in third place in the 2019 Internet Society GlobalChapterthon competition.

Additionally, i have overseen the execution of various community network and digital literacyprograms in Ghana.

I'mexcited to join the Chapters Advisory Council because I believe the time hascome to use the experience and knowledge I have gained over the yearsvolunteering and serving in many capacities for the Internet Society to giveback to the global community.

Iadvocate for inclusiveness and openness for all people, regardless of gender,race, or nationality.
