[Chapter-delegates] FINAL REMINDER: Call for Nominations, ISOC Board of Trustees

Richard,
Well, it depends on the point of view...
Why not look at it from a different perspective - if ISOC pays $ 150K
(or 50K), that means that CISCO will have to explain to their directors
why they are paid so little.
Of course, that's a joke, but so is comparing a commercial public
company to an NGO. ISOC doesn't need to worry about selling routers, and
has a budget, which actually allows paying the Trustees. However, of
course, given the current configuration of the BoT, one should not
expect that this will happen ever - be that in form of tens of thousands
or even just $ 300 / year. People should not be surprised, if the BoT
comes with a counter proposal - if someone wants to serve on the BoT,
they should be able to raise funds for ISOC.
