+1 Julf. Email's still the most efficient means of communication.
The problem stems from every local chapter board election announcement &
chapter rejuvenation causing a wave of reply-all congratulations. With
over 100 chapters, we'll never end the congratulations!
I'd rather learn about what Chapters are actually DOING rather than
self-congratulations which is not much of an achievement, in my opinion.
And I have congratulated newly formed chapter leaders by direct personal
email because I can't think that the hundreds of other people find it of
value that I'd say "Congratulations xyz, I look forward to working with
you and meeting in the future".
